Sheryl Weisflog

Sheryl Weisflog is an Attorney-Advisor and Program Manager in the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) of the U.S. Department of Commerce, Office of the General Counsel. Ms. Weisflog manages CLDP programs in the Maghreb, which focus on legal reform and economic development issues.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Weisflog served as a law clerk for CLDP, focusing on capacity building programs in Mali and Tunisia.

Ms. Weisflog received her law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she served as Staff Editor of the ILS Journal for International Law and as Vice President of the Immigration Law Association. While in law school, Ms. Weisflog clerked for the Honorable Lynne A. Battaglia in the Maryland Court of Appeals. She also holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations, with a concentration on Africa, from the University of Virginia. Ms. Weisflog is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland. She is fluent in French.
