OGC Welcomes Deputy General Counsel for Strategic Initiatives, Catherine Keller

Please welcome Catherine Keller to the Office of the General Counsel.  Catherine joins the Department of Commerce as Deputy General Counsel for Strategic Initiatives. Previously, she worked at international law firms focusing on capital markets transactions, regulatory matters and counseling public companies, and served as counsel at a global investment management firm. She also serves on the board of a non-profit organization, and has served in leadership roles for other groups and foundations. After law school, she clerked for the Hon. William Garwood of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Catherine holds a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law from which she graduated as Vice Chancellor.  She also holds a B.A. in English and Sociology from the University of Richmond.
