Conflicts of interest, which require an employee's disqualification from certain matters, can arise based upon the employee's financial interests or personal relationships.

In some circumstances, an employee may obtain a waiver allowing the employee to participate in matters where disqualification would otherwise be required.  If you would like to obtain such a waiver for either yourself or a subordinate employee, please contact the Ethics Law and Programs Office.

The documents below contain additional information on conflicts of interest, disqualifications, and recusal.
